I only say it when its several NEW songs and I consistently hear the same riffs/patterns. And I never said Victor was entirely repetitive. However, he can be at times. No big deal he is still awesome
Play what you're most comfortable with innit, it sounds good, people still love it. I know from experience, the more you practise the same stuff, it comes out just as good when people have heard it ten times or over. Do you say that when you go see a band and you've heard them play a song you've listened to hundreds of times ? Had to be said.
If you watch a lot of his solos on this site, You will find he repeats the same patterns as he did here. Good stuff though.
