  • you should try "the big acoustic guitar chord songbook" series....I find them fantastic
  • nope. what the capo does is acts as a moveable nut and shortens the length of the strings which changes the key you're in. For instance, if you pretend you have a capo on the 7th fret & you hold down an E chord all of the open strings will be in the wrong key of the chord your're playing & everything will sound yuck. The 3 notes that you're holding down will sound right, but all the other ones won't.
