  • Jazz requires a great deal of practice and study to improvise over complex changes, but 95% of the time (or more) the player plucks one note at a time. This also makes them dependent on others to make music. While every note is written for the classical guitarist, they typically play 2 to 4 voices at a time, often using counterpoint and intricate movements, and this requires a greater discipline to achieve perfection in performance.
