The song is a Original
chinese amazing guitar player JerryC Canon User Reviews
his guitar hero controller has weird stringy things on it...
lol u noticed that they all have ibanezs 2 lol i guess its a popular brand its asian afterall
the way i use to use a pinch harmonic is i dont pick the note normaly, i flick my wrist, not very hard and not to gently either but i let the knuckle of my thumb touch the string very lightly as im doing it, it should only be about 0.25 of a second
put your thumb on the string when u hit it
Is it just me, or does evryone have that Ibanez?
love tht ibanez
that doesn't quite tell me HOW to do it although i know what it is called now though. thanks.
Pinch harmonic.
how do you do that high bend thing at 2:19?
hmm this remind me of something...er...oh yeah shut the fuck up
josh
djazzygethro, Retarded name btw, stfu you and all of us know that you can't ever do anything like this and are just jelous
Yeah, anyone who learns from it, good for them. But it glorifies speed too much. Speed is just ONE step along the way, you know? And what I mean about virtuoso's is that they use what they've learned to create NEW sounds and phrases. Scales are 'fillers' to get you from A to B. Or a stopgap for when you're live and 'working' a solo. Invention stands out and makes a virtuoso but it includes technique and skill. But this kind of playing is 95% technique.
lol, nope, sorry, you won't suck me into nation-bashing. That's an american past-time, hehe :P
so your saying virtuoso's play music without using scales? ...that does sound pretty special.
Plus, the sheer number of people this song has influenced must amount to something?
and most people if they tried, would never get this good...
LOL, Im sure u could do better...
I didn't know they had music in ireland, i just assumed they drank all day and complained.
Haha, of course it's not fake!! It's all too horribly real, lol. The guy's got good speed all right. But that's it. Scales and speed and a bit of slam-on aren't the definition of amazing playing. They're actually the easiest things to learn. It's just repetition. Monkey see, monkey do. Play by numbers, you know? So mind-numbingly soulless it is. Making the hairs on your neck stand up when improvising WITHOUT resorting to scales or gimmicks? Now THAT'S virtuosity. Not this speedy piddle, lol. Tsk
Very good at 3.42 to 3.48 .
this guitar have a really hight pricE :P
Waste of time playing like it's real if it where fake... NOT A FAKE .. real stuff and real talent
I love the modulation at 3.58...
Exactly. These people crying that things are fake would do well to pick up a guitar themselves instead of slating other people's playing.
I think this song (not the version) needs some legato!! It could sounds great.. it has all: tapping, sweep, fast picking... everithing!! :D
3) I am a guitar player and I play this song... and it's exactly the way it plays.. so it's not fake!! :D
Cor how do people get off saying these things are fake?
1) there are imperfections. Fake things tend not to have them.
2) He can clearly move his hands and fingers fast enough to "fake" along to the song... so why would he fake?
